My husband and I went here for dinner last night and loved it. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious — it really reminded me of different cities in Vietnam.
We ordered the family-style combo and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and honestly reminded me of home, when my mom cooks and we all sit down to eat together. Super cozy and comforting.
We also met the owner Quyen — he was so friendly and warm, which made the experience even better.
Highly recommend if you’re craving Vietnamese food or want to introduce Vietnamese culture to friends and family.

Great space with a wonderful patio on the lake. Menu was interesting and food was delicious across the board. Unfortunately the service was completely unacceptable. Getting one iPad for a table of 4 to share as a menu is stupid. I’d rather … More

It's been hard to get a reservation for Saturday lunch as every time, they seem to have a private event. But I managed to walk in today! I was not disappointed. Although we were turned away initially, they seated us outside after the person at the front desk got some clarification.
The food was very good. Our server was pretty knowledgeable so he helped us in ordering items. We sat outside on a picture perfect day. Great place to try out what they call "elevated Vietnamese cuisine"!

Came for diner. Made reservations for 7 pm. Came in no wait but place was pretty busy. Be sure to make reservations else could be a wait for seats. We were seated outside patio with water view we had requested on reservation. Dishes came out when ready it seems. The first dish came out way ahead of the other ones. We don't mind. Just dig into whatever comes out first. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive even when very busy. The owner came to our table and had a talk and he comped us a few dishes that were offered here but very hard to find anywhere in the US. These were truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine on steroids. The ingredients were of high quality and you can tell once you bite into it. All the dishes were amazing and delicious. You have to get the oysters on half shell. They are the best I've tasted. What makes it so good is the sauce that comes with it. What's more, they have oyster special every Wednesday. Cannot miss. The atmosphere was so romantic with the patio lights turned on at night and the breathtaking view of the sunset on the water while you eat dinner. I feel incredibly blessed to have such an experience. Come for the food, come for date night. You won't regret it.

We came to anchovies and salt and met up with the co-owner Calvin.
The interior was created with so much thoughtful and intention to reflect each region of Vietnam. The color concept of the darker color walls, the black fixtures, and the wood really created a relaxing environment with a bold statement.
The Dungeness crab bun rieu was was grounding and peaceful to eat. It included a light tomato broth with the smell of fish sauce. There were meatballs and pieces of Dungeness crab with a side of banana blossom and herbs.
The seafood platter consisted of grilled oysters topped with a generous amount of green onions, raw oysters, steamed clams, grilled shrimp with mươi ot, geoduck in a delicious, warm coconut butter sauce, fried smelt, and a variety of sauces. This platter completed my seafood dreams.
The bo la lot had packed meat encased in crunchy lolot leaves with a side of mam tom. The tanginess and punget shrimp flavor really rounded out each piece.
We also had banh mi bo ne was delicious and had so many different components. It included a large Vietnamese baguette, sunny side up eggs, pate, tender pieces of flat iron steak, cherry tomatoes, and marrow bone with sweet bbq sauce. It was so engaging to rip the bread and make a perfect bite with each component.
And lastly, we ordered the banh flan nuoc mam. The flan was smooth and soft with a hint of caramel fish sauce and a topping of coffee cream.
This whole experience was delicious, brought so much peace and took me back home. I will definitely be back to try more!

Anchovies and Salt is an elevated Vietnamese restaurant with enough flavor for the whole fam & a set-up for karaoke that lends to big group gatherings. My friends and I from the Asian Real Estate Association of America (Seattle chapter) gathered together after our annual gala to share some delicious meals & drinks. Someone ordered for the group so we all shared family style.
We started with Mac Ken Beef Skewers and CHẢ GIÒ (southern eggrolls) and ended up with so much food that I lost track. One of my favs though was the Claypot Fish and my fav drink was the Mot-Hai-Ba Yo! Lychee sake. We sang our hearts out with the huge TV screen making it easy for karaoke night and the walk there from the parking garage had breathtaking views of Lake Washington and a winter ice skating rink.

Beautiful place at the water and with a killer sunset. The restaurant is clean and had plenty of seats open. The food was pretty good, with the wagyu being the only thing I really loved. I could have had 3 more servings of that. The rest was average for a decent restaurant. Service was pretty fast, food didn't take long, and they did have a cool robot taking food out and returning dishes. I'd go again.

A great place to dine when in the Lake Washington area. This is probably the most popular place and also has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The Vietnamese cuisine here is good, but for me it's the company that makes it great. Its great because I can order plenty of items to share among friends and enjoy it with them. There's a bit of something for everyone on the menu.

Great atmosphere, right by the water and restaurant is elegantly decorated.
The price of food is a little higher for obvious reasons. My favorite is the Banh Beo 10/10 Steak Skewers 10/10 Fresh Oyster 🦪 10/10
The hyped dish Steak on the skillet unfortunately didn’t really deliver. The meat was rather bland and not much flavor to it. Definitely not worth the price 5/10.
Pho tai lan has underwhelming broth 5/10.
I love the cocktails selection. Tried several ones and they’re all great!
Overall the food experience is a little bit underwhelming given how fancy this place looks. Yes the restaurant looks nice, but the flavors are comparable to those regular viet restaurants.. for a higher price. I’d recommend them solidifying some dishes’ flavor and make them more authentic/ higher quality (like Ba Bar for example) instead of just chasing “the vibe”, so we would want to come back often for the food.

Highly recommend! The menu feels like a tour around Vietnam, featuring dishes you don’t typically see at a Vietnamese restaurant. I loved this culinary journey through northern, central, and southern flavors, with creative touches like the coconut milk geoduck that beautifully blends Vietnamese traditions with local ingredients. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and the waterfront setting adds to the charm. My only regret was dining alone—I wish I could have ordered everything I wanted to try!
